Red Flat 2 V2 rim - suede falling apart

Hi fellow Fanatec product users
I received this rim on 11.01.2022. Although I only used it very little and for protection of rims like always use gloves (this time from FREEM) the "high-quality synthetic suede" is falling apart already.
I attached two photos of the mess.
I' asking around here because Fanatec Support let me know that this totally normal and could happen. They even said that the gloves might be the problem and might hurt the suede...
Did anybody else run into similar problems ? I got me some used Fanatec rims on Ebay and they held and hold up much better...

It is normal unfortunately.
No matter how much you try to prevent it from happening the suede (even in real life cars) they start "falling apart" from the go.
Hello everybody
Well, it seems not be normal, at least not if it's happening after light use for no more than two weeks.
Fanatec exchanged the rim and sent me a new one.
I just wanted to let everybody know who runs into similar problems / trouble...
