Surprised by CSL Elite+ and Podium Button Module Endurance Incompatibility

I just bought a second hand Podium Button Module Endurance for my CSL Elite+. Ever since I entered the Fanatec ecosystem I've had my eye on that button module so I was extremely excited to get my hands on it. You can imagine my disappointment when I plugged it in and saw the error "Steering wheel not supported! Please update the firmware!"
I reread the Podium Button Module compatibility page more closely and I now see that the CSL Elite isn't listed under supported wheelbases. That's hugely frustrating, especially considering the ClubSport 2.5 is supported. Are we going to see the Podium Button Module supported on the CSL Elite, or should I sell it?

Since driver 435 (released 2 weeks ago) it is compatible ;)
sorry to jump on this thread with a question , but Maurice are you saying the csl elite V.1 for xbox is compatible now ?
many thanks
No. Only the CSL Elite Wheel Base+ (the PS4 version)!
Well that was great timing, from https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/24916/fanatec-driver-436-beta-435-before-for-csl-csw-and-podium-wb-all-wheels:
Button Module Endurance
Added compatibility to CSL Elite WB PS4
From that thread driver 435 had some problems with the McLaren V2 wheel, so it wasn't released. 436 is currently in Beta. I'll hold off until it's officially released, but looks like it's imminent.
The issue with the McLaren V2 was the driver that was included in the 436 package which had you roll back to 435 manually just for that wheel. The driver is posted there to fix the issue. I've had no issues with my McLaren V2 after rolling back the driver manually
