MCLAREN GT3 V2?

Hello everyone, I would like to thank all in advance for any advice or guidance.

I have MCLAREN GT3 V2, The led on the top of the rim reads out gear, speed or other information I may set it for. My question is there a way to get the speedometer on the wheel rim to match the speedometer on the in game speedometer ? I use mostly RaceRoom and its strange to see speedometer on wheel read roughly 50mph+ less than what's on my screen. I am not sure if this is normal as this is my first wheel with a read out. Again thanks again in advance.
