Any point in updating the firmware
I’ve just received the GT pro. Is there anywhere that tells me what the latest firmware. And is there any point in updating to it anyway? It’ll be a right faff for me to get it hooked up to a pc. And half the posts about this wheel are people with bricked wheels during updates.

it will work right out of the box, but if there have been improvements you won't get the benifits, the only way to see your vertion is to load fanatec software and plug in the wheel base and it will say whay version you have.
Recieved my GT Pro last week and updated the drivers without issue.
There have been many firmware updates already which is what you want for console. Especially if you have a shifter add on.
Just be sure to click on the Firmware update button when you open your drivers and follow the instructions.
Agreed. As its a secondary drive you can install any firmware updates after you format it and before there's any data on it.
