GT7 pedal deadzone

Any way to set this? Thank you
Comments
No.
I tested GT7 yesterday I saw the brake pedal with is applying just a little brake to the car, the dead zone would be great to adjust. Is there any other way to work around this?
You can set it on PC via Fanatec Control Panel, the setting is stored in the base so it'll stay effective on consoles as well.
The manual calibration that Tianyu is referring to is only available on certain pedal sets. The standard CSL Pedals that come with the GT DD Pro for example do not allow for manual calibration unless you upgrade them with the CSL Pedals Load Cell Kit.
If you do not have access to manual calibration, I suggest that you contact support.

Most sims will have something in game where you can adjust pedal saturation, deadzones, and the like. Does GT7 not have this?
No, GT7 does not have this. GT games never had this.
Wow. That's pretty surprising. Been a while since I played any GT games (and then only with a controller). So I guess I never realized it.
I have the CSL Elite (PS4 version) with the LC brake pedal and I have exactly the same issue. There is no braking deadzone and the pedal will register an input by simply touching the pedal with one finger. I like to gently rest my foot on the brake pedal so I am not constantly searching for it. This is not possible without an adjustable deadzone. From what I can tell, the only adjustment I have is brake force which does nothing for the deadzone and there is no manual calibration option available either, not that I can see.
I doubt Polyphony will do anything about this since they don't usually include a pedal calibration/settings menu which is rather annoying.
Will Fanatec update their drivers to make this feature possible? There seems to be a lot of people needing this fixed.
With a DD1 I found that powering on the wheel base while gently pressing the brake gave me a deadzone.
Not a bad shout, I gave it a try but with no success unfortunately.
Thanks for the response.
Same issue here. One fingertip on the pedal and the brake reacts. Do I now have to buy a new pedal set? I have the CSL Elite pedals with LC. That’s very bad. In GTS everything is perfect.
Complete senseless to play. I only brake with the yellow foam. I do not even recognize the elastom springs.
I‘ve tried it and it worked! In the same time, I changed to the recommended settings by Fanatec. Will check if it still works today evening.
Stepping on the brake while switching on the base help again yesterday.
However, this cannot be the sense of the things.
I have the v3 pedals and would love to see this, I too have about 3-5% brake being applied with my foot resting on the brake pedal. deadzone is critical to have for GT7. I'll try the workaround. I do have a PC so may also try the manual calibration - neither of these seem like the right solution, just worarounds.
Holy crap this actually works for me. Thank you
Just to give clarification to anyone wondering if you can change the deadzone of your brake in GT7. You can if you have the CSL Elite pedals with the load cell by slightly depressing the pedal (to how much of a deadzone you’d like) and holding it there and then turning on the base until it’s finished booting up.
