having issues with BME locking up during or after gameplay in GT7

I have a F1 PS4 DD1 with a GT3 wheel and button module endurance (club sport) running GT7 on PS5, occasionally during gameplay (or immediately after a race/event) the buttons/paddle shifters will stop responding. The wheel and base still work as intended, so far the only way for me to get the button module to work again is to remove it from the base and re insert it. Has anyone else run into this issue? I know I have a pretty specific setup so not overly hopeful. I have been mindful to make sure the wheel is properly inserted into the base and that the collar is tight. So far this has not happened on the F1 rim that came with the unit. Only the GT3 BME. The GT3 BME seems to work fine on PC.

Hi Brian, are you absolutely sure the BME works fine on PC? Are you sending similar forces through it? GT7 has quite strong FFB output even in the middle setting of '5'.
I recommend opening a support ticket via the My Products section of your Fanatec account.

Actually not sure what would be causing the issue the BME or the Club Sport universal hub attached to it? Would it be prudent to try to remove the BME and test it that way? just a lot of work.
This is fixed for me with driver 4.40 👍👍
