V3 Hall sensor on throttle keeps resetting to half

My V3 throttle keeps resetting itself for some reason.

I am on PS5, and this morning I was playing AC and I noticed I only had half throttle at max pedal, so I recalibrated on the Fanatec app on the laptop, all is well. Then halfway in the race, I noticed that I, again, only had half throttle left, at max pedal.

So I figured, maybe a bug in AC, so I switched to GT7, and right away I was at half throttle. So, recalibrated once again, this time played around with the min/max for a few minutes, and all seemed well, only to find that after a few minutes, once again - half throttle at max pedal...

Is this a symptom of a hall sensor gone bad?

Hi Leon,

Yes that is certainly not normal behaviour and points to a possible hardware problem. You could compare the clutch sensor with the throttle sensor, to see if it is sitting right. And it should be kept free of dust and debris.
