Fanatec csl elite v1 base

Hi, I own the csl elite set (wheel and base) and I need to remove the female connector that the steering wheel connects to from the base and I wasn't able to find any instructions online on how to do so.
Any help would be appreciated.

I bought the wheel with destroyed female connector for cheap and I want to replace it so I can use wheels accessories. I've looked throughout YouTube and forums and I found no-one that removes the connector. I've also considered the option to install wireless connection for the wheel but I've not found a appropriate guide and equipment
I think it's simply clipped in. The little rectangle indents around the centre bit with the pin sockets are the clips I believe - these will need depressed then the connector should release.
