Is it safe to order CSL Load Cell Kit?

Using the regular 2 pedal set right now and want upgrade with the load cell kit.

Since there are reports of faulty LC Kits, destroying the other pedals, is there something special to look for?

fyi: bought the pedals second hand and seller didn´t want to send the invoice because it was from the dd pro bundle so no warranty when something goes wrong.
