DD1 Notchy on 1st Start Up

Does anyone else get a randomly occurring notchy detent feeling in the DD1 base on initial startup? Like the wheel is not smooth, but locks into a bumped notchy pattern around the full 360 degrees.

Current drivers yes, current firmware yes.

It only occurs randomly when first powering on the DD1.

A full power cycle usually fixes the issue, but I'm wondering why this is occurring pretty consistently.

Are there any best practices to use when powering on the DD1?

    Not sure how you power it up, and i have never had this issue.

    My way of powering up is: connect power to socket -> Connect USB to device(in my case PS5) -> Start connected device(if not already started) -> Turn on DD1 base
