DD Pro 8 Nm power supply

Hello, a friend of mine just bought a DD PRO base with the 8 Nm power supply, but it came with a cable for US wall sockets. He lives in EU so my question is: can he use a cable from a PC instead of the original? At a first glance it looks like it fits. Thank you!
