Dear Fanatac-support!
do you see a posibilty that sometime Fanatec offers a magnetic paddle module for the McLaren steering Wheel?
Kind regards.

The McLaren v2 already uses Magnetic Paddles by default?!🤔
Of course you ´re right. My question should have been, are there any considerations to offer even better and quieter alternatives to Upgrade the Wheel.
Check out the paddle mod from SimMakerz. Fitted them to my wheel and they're a big improvement over the standard paddle assembly. Obviously not a warranty friendly option but worth it imho.

Big need for a Clubsport GT3 wheel.
The step between the McLaren CSL wheel and the BMW GT3 and Bentley Podium wheels leaves room for Clubsport.
Then the answer is "no".
Thanks for the fast anwers, Maurice.
and just for the record: in my opinion the Price-Performance-Ratio of the McLaren is with 200 € good.
@ Stephen: thanks for the advice!
Hi Frank,
I also use Simmakerz magnetic shifter on McLaren V2 wheel, same as Stephen mentioned (I even rotated the simmakerz paddle same as Stephen to give me extra mm of reach).
It is a bit pricey and not warranty friendly, but it is definitely worth it for me. I really like the V2 wheel. Factory default was OK (I actually like the orange accent), but in long races I was getting fatigue from reach/travel.
If you decide to go this route, I also suggest putting small thin pad between your V2 wheel buttons(xbox, Y,X,B,A, etc.) to eliminate rattling. Subtle, but helps if you're looking to eliminate all vibrational noise. (I can send you a picture if you're interested). Good luck!
Hi @Tae Yoo, can you please send pictures of the modification you mentioned above (small thin pad between your V2 wheel buttons)? Thank You!
Hi Igor, sorry for delayed message. Here's the video:
Below is what I did. Use small thin fabric, I think 2-3mm thick, and place it in between the button caps as you see below.
I used thin double sided tape to help secure the felt fabric in place. just enough to help secure it.
Once you assemble it, it won't move.
After I did this modification, I have zero vibrational noise.
Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.
