getting GT PRO working on PS5 - newb needs help please

Hello ,


I have the fanatatec GT Pro dd (8nm) works fine on pc , has the latest firmware etc.

Tried hooking it up to PS5 , not registering the wheel base , only states , connect wheel base , tried the usb port on the front of PS5 and the ones on the rear with no joy .

NO i haven't left the wheel base in PC mode , its in PlayStation mode (blue light) and yet nothing, works perfectly fine on PC and has the latest firmware installed .


Am i supposed to get the fanatec driver installed on PS5 ? i cant seem to figure this one out , seems to me its not possible , need some help please

    You need to press the Playstation button to assign the device to your playstation account.

    Fanatec drivers can only be installed on a PC for obvious reasons, no Software ever cant be installed on a console.
