How do I get the chemical smell out of the GT steering wheel?

Hello,

I bought the fanatec dd pro 5nm. I'm happy with it so far. I still have a question. How do I get the chemical smell out of the GT steering wheel. My whole room smells like this steering wheel.

    Hi I had the same, I would say almost vomit after opening box, smell was horrible. I left my unit for 2 weeks on balcony and it went away. First time in my life faced such horrible experience.
