Mounting a 3rd party wheel to a CSL DD
Hello. I've tried emailing Fanatec directly to no avail. I was hoping maybe someone here could answer my question...
What exactly do I need to mount a non-Fanatec wheel (Grid MPX) to the CSL DD wheelbase? Will the Podium Hub do the trick?

You will need either the Podium hub or the Universal hub V2.
To clarify for the OP, "Universal Hub v2" refers to either the CSL Universal Hub v2 or the Clubsport one. Both will work.

I don't think the CSL UH V2 will do the job without the ability to remove the button islands.
What you need are Podium Hub.
CSW Universal Hub, it could work, but mostly it is used to mount the rims, not complete steering wheels. You should strip it of everything, it seems bulkier, less robust, and above all it costs twice as much.
Yup, Alessandro is right. Apologies, I'm not familiar with the wheel that OP mentioned. I didn't realize it was a whole wheel plus buttons/shifters/etc., I thought it was just a wheel rim by itself.
