ClubSport Shifter SQ 1.5 changes from Seq Mode to H pattern during use to the mode switch

I have this problem with the shifter "falling out" of sequential mode due to the mode switch not staying in place. Is there a way to lock-it down to prevent this from occurring?

There is a slide actuated microswitch fixed to the inside base of the shifter which is what affects the change from H pattern to sequential. It is secured by a single screw; first thing to check is that this remains fixed securely.

Ugh. We shouldn't need to check anything if it's designed properly. My brand new shifter from Black Friday has started falling out of sequential mode. I guess I'll need to unmount it and look inside. ARGH!!!
