Missing gear functionalities on XBOX
Hi Everyone,
Can someone please explain why some functionalities in the steering wheel and the pedals are not working on an Xbox console?
Nowhere on the site is there any mention of functionalities like the rev indicator not working.
Overal Fanatec experience as a first time user is really sad. After waiting weeks for an order to come through, components gone missing by UPS and then finally setting up to discover key elements not working..
Seems like a market share left open for a company to provide decent gear and service..
damn.

It is mentioned on the webpage in the wheel description, e.g. for the Xbox compatible McLaren GT3:
But there is hope, in October Xbox wire wrote
“Bespoke buttons and digital displays will be activated in an upcoming Fanatec wheel firmware update.
However, ultimatively it's up to the GAMES to implement this upcoming Fanatec Xbox SDK then. When a game does not implement the SDK, then also the telemetry stuff and extra buttons etc wont work in those games.
A bit misleading.
At first it states that it is compatible, only at the bottom of the page is there any mention..
My bad to not have been thorough enough, but for first time users the info could have been more laid out.
The question is when that SDK will be ready. Once Fanatec does its part, we users will stop asking them and we will start asking the developers when they are going to use it.
