XBOX app on Win 11 PC

Have the fanatec CSL DD and McLaren GT3. works fine when connected directly to XBOX or on games when running STEAM on PC - However - when running XBOX games from XBOX app on PC - I place wheel in XBOX mode (wheel display shows wheel is in XBOX mode) but FH4/5 or Forza 7 or Forza Motorsport does not recognize wheel. All drivers are up to date on Fanatec base/wheel, etc. An ideas? I've tried searching the forums here but no luck so far.......

Xbox mode is for Xbox - only. On PC you have to use the regular red PC mode or the yellow PC Compatibility mode, doesnt matter if using Steam or Xbox App - it is still running on a PC ;)
Good point! Should have thought of that :-) So in PC mode (red) Forza Motosport does recognize the wheel and pedals (good!) but FH5/4 and Motosport 7 still do not - but I can play those on my xbox one x so I'm ok. Thanks!!
FH5 you need to be in PC Comp mode (yellow) on PC
