CSL DD rotation at startup

I'm using the CSL DD 8nm base. 410 driver and 1.0.2.4 firmware. Since i can remember there was only a slight rotation at startup then recentered. It's now doing the complete 360 rotation, like my older ClubSport base. I'm using a NON fanatic wheel and have a USB cord routed on my rig that i prefer not to unplug every time i switch on the base. Is there some setting change i can make to avoid this?
