my brand new DD2 Just caught on fire

so i ordered the dd2 cause i thought it was a good black friday deal, got it today and after setting it up(updating firmware and stuff) gave assetto corsa a try, first the wheel would go crazy making me take my hands off the wheel and i thought maybe some setting was causing it so i tried the same settings i had on my csl dd, tried again andsame thing happened

then i tried playing f1 23 with some friends and the same thing happened where the wheel would go crazy making me take my hands off the wheel and i could smell something like plastic burning so i jumped out of my cockpit and when i got to the wheelbase it was blowing smoke out the back

has this happened to anyone else before? the base was on for not even 1 hour and this happened
