question about killswitch support for clubsport dd and dd+

hey everyone
like many of u i pre ordered my first set just now and waiting for my sc dd+ to arrive
(all my other pieces have arrived already and do wanne thank fanatec for the quick delivery :) )
now with the clubsport dd and dd+ i can see accidents happen and i would love to have killswitch support
is this still the case and where can i plug this in because i am new to the whole eco-system
i I do not have my base yet obviously but i am curious because when I get it I do like my safety and would not like to have my wrist getting hurt
can someone help me with some info plz

The CS DD does not support a Killswitch.
I imagine a "Y" connector could be fashioned between the base and power supply and the Fanatec kill switch would attach (Or a simple remote switch) to interrupt the base power. However the remote turn on (supported by the Podium DD's) of the Fanatec kill switch would be inoperative.
It's sad that the Original Fanatec Kill Switch is not Supported for the new CS DD Bases. Espacially if you think about the additional value for the customer and fanatec as well.
But, you can use a Standard Repair- or Maintenance-Switch which you install in front of the original Power Supply for the Base to realize these additional Safetyfunktion by yourself if needed.
to you really need a Kill Switch for that ?
you should not allow that kids play with this anyway, its little too strong for them
even moza not add Kill Switch for they 12 nm -.-

The difference is that moza’s 12nm is peak vs CS DD 12nm being a hold, it can likely peak at 16nm or higher, especially for the DD+. Compare that to the DD1 which had an optional kill switch for similar power, and i can understand why people would like a killswitch
No, the CS DD can not peak higher than the 12 Nm (respectively 15 Nm for the CS DD+).
Holding and Peak Torque are the exact same on these bases, hence they also dont need a FFS Linear/Peak setting anymore, becauuse the provided FFB is always Linear and can not peak higher.
if they really feel that they needed, there is a remote power switch off devices

Yeah Im not disagreeing with not having a kill-switch, you can likely easily wire one up, cheaply as well.
I guess the only difference is that its “rated” for it and made with it in mind + elegance vs justing wiring an actual killswitch, but then again, how often are you killing power to the base to the point where it would kill the electronics.
I have a kill switch with my DD2 which I have had for several years. It has been used zero times.
yeh, 25nm is another story, it is good if its there but you may not actually never need that
