When to use CSL DD Native Support vs Compatibility Mode

At what point can we start using the native mode as apposed to compatibility mode for the CSL DD base? Has the guidance changed? The existence of a compatibility mode implies a kludge or compromise in the use of the base.

You can use the native PÜC mode in pretty much every recent game.
Comp mode is only needed for old EOL games like the original AC or old F1 titles or old Forza titles etc.
All new games (RaceRoom, rFactor, AMS2, F1 23, ACC, iRacing) can all be used with native red PC mode.
I cant get AMS2 to work if not in compatibility mode. I messed around with all sorts of settings and no luck.
