QR2

Which wheel side QR2 would you recommend for a DD2?

the QR2 Pro or the regular Qr2?

  • If money isn't a concern the Pro, otherwise I would buy the standard as it is essentially the same with the difference it is made from forged aluminum opposed to a billet as I understand it.

I read in the small text that the QR2 is made to withstand 1000 insertions. If you swap wheels once per day, that's less than 3 years lifespan. Not good at all in my view for the price.

Having said that, my QR1 was clicking on every turn and I had stopped using it, as I could not enjoy it. The QR2 I received delivered rock solid connetions. My GT DD Pro now feels like what it was meant to be but much more expensive (as I had to effectively throw away the QR1s and buy QR2s).
