Gran Turismo DD Pro Wheel Base

Hi,

Sorry if this is a question that has been asked before but I could not see it. I am looking to get my first wheel to use on my PlayStation 5 and PC, I have settled (after several days) on the Gran Turismo DD Pro Wheel Base as it says its can do both, however I also like playiong Forza Motorsport 7 on my Xbox series Xand my question is will the CSL Elite Steering Wheel McLaren GT3 V2 work on the above mentioned base accross all 3 platforns as I dont want to get 2 different wheels for Playstation & Xbox?


Thanks for helpling out a Wheel Base virgin as I feel the controllers are holding me back.

    PS5 gets it's licensing from a wheel base chip. Xbox Gets it from a chip in the wheel.

    So how it's supposed to work is if you have a PS5 compatible base and you put an Xbox compatible Wheel on that base. I should work. I don't have xbox, but that's what i've seen. Other brands are very similar.

    So GT DD Pro with any wheel that show's xbox should work.

    This is why PS bases usually cost more :(

    Hi, thamks for that as it all makes sense now. I have just ordered that base and steering wheel.
