BMW GT3 and Simhub

Hi all, I am thinking of grabbing the new BMW Rim in the next few months and read something today about it not working with Simhub. I only want to use simhub with it to be able to map buttons on the rim to change my DDU screens. Is this possible with this rim and simhub?
