Is there a way to do a driver update without switching on the base or a trick to switch it on again? I think you already mentioned that. Or is the hardware now the reason why the base can no longer be switched on?
Hello ladies and gentlemen, I still haven't received any real feedback and the intervals between responses from the support team seem to have increased.
Not even reassuring words that they are working on a solution.
I'm still sitting here with my broken DD+ and getting more and more suspicious of Fanatec
So everything turned out well for me in the end. I've had my DD + back in operation since today. So far it has been running without any problems. I'd rather wait with the driver update.

I only switch between PC and Xbox Mode.
For 100% protection: Maybe it would also be better if the base-firmware blocked this button until the base has booted up. Just a idea for next driver.

What did u do ?
After I opened a support ticket, fanatec asked me to return the base.
I have received a new replacement device. Sorry for the late reply
