Impressed with the Fanatec BMW M3 GT4 wheel

I bought it as kind of a cool collector’s item. I used it for the first time today with the DD+ base. I like it a lot! The size is perfect. It is solid as a rock, yet amazingly light (at least compared to the GSI Huper P1), the limited number of buttons are a nice contrast to wheels with zillions of buttons. The buttons, dials, switches, and shifters/clutches are the best I have ever experienced.


of course in Iracing I used it with the M3 GT4 at spa and Nords. 😄. For anyone who was on the fence, go for it. It looks like pre-orders are open.

    one question. Are there any active button light fanalab profiles? It seemed like the colors did not change for flags in Iracing.

    I don’t seem to notice flags or other animations on my BMW, is that the result of issues with the DD+?

    You need to select a telemetry channel with the "All Flags" option for every Button individually in FanaLab in order to get the Button lighting up in the respective Flag color.
