CSL elite v2 pedals settings resetting after closing the control panel or restarting pc

Since a week or two I have my pedals connected to the pc directly. Every time I boot my pc the settings of my pedals reset, when I have them set up to the settings I prefer and I close the control panel the settings reset again.
The firmware is up-to-date it says but I still have the problem.
can someone help me?
