When buying a new wheel, Qr1 you get for free Qr2 you pay full price

Hi Fanatec

I’m fairly new to sim-racing and when I bought my first direct drive a CSL DD 8nm, I also bought a Qr2 base-side and a Qr2 wheel-side. (Before you could get the CSL DD with Qr2 from stock)

Now I’m looking to upgrade at get me a new wheel, but I can see that if you chooses a Qr1 it for free but if you choose a Qr2 it’s 100 eur.

I you thinking about reducing the price on a Qr2 wheel-side when you purchase a new wheel?

Other that this, I’m very satisfied with my Fanatec gear, i’t made the joy of sim-racing so much better.

    It is like this since the QR2 was released last year.

    At some point in the future the QR1 will be discontinued so then wheels will get shipped with QR2 included in the price by default. Until then it costs extra.
