Advance Paddle missing shift

Hi guys, I have the advance paddle modules on a steering wheel and it happens that some upshifts are missing, I wonder what I can do to prevent this from happening, in theory with the hall sensor they should be free from wear. Does anyone have any advice to give me on this?

    Which Hall Sensor?

The Shift Paddles use a regular switch to activate / deactivate the button input. Only the Clutch Paddle uses Hall Sensors.

Missing shifts are currently under investigation, some say old firmwares from driver 455 are better.. Worth a try if you are on newer firmwares.

  • I thought all paddles were with hall sensors. So is it a firmware problem? I currently have the 462 but I haven't had time to try the wheel with the new firmware, these days I'll try and update the topic. Maybe if nothing changes I can go from the 462 to the 455 to avoid this problem

  • I have this issue but will downgrading to 455 reintroduce issue with the Podium Button Module Rally that were fixed in later drivers?

    Button Module Rally Improvements

    • Fixed MPS positions being off by 1 value.
    • Fixed ACP names being shown in wrong 7-Seg. abbreviations instead of full text.
    • Adjusted MPS LED colors.
