fanatec mclaren gt3 v2 stuck gearbox problem

Good morning, I'll explain my problem.
two weeks ago during a race the orange shifter of the Mclaren Fanatec wheel got stuck (I attach video below).
The wheel was purchased in November 2023 and therefore still under warranty.
After opening the ticket, Fanatec replied that in addition to paying for shipping,
the repair costs will be charged even though the product is still under warranty.
I wanted to ask if anyone has already had a similar problem and if so how they solved it.
