The question is, if I can switch to a similar cable (D) with the USB-C instead of USB-A or if this causes any problems. Alternative question: Can I use an adapter from USB-A to USB-C without having input lags beacuse of this adapter.

usb is just a usb, they are all same , just different cable format sizes
Should not be a problem if it's right spec.
On my PS5 Slim I use a USB A to USB C adapter that came with a Dell laptop. It works well with no issues. I have used it with CSL DD Pro and DD1.
there is also the adapters as well indeed, they may cost even less than full cable self
