Wheel alignment F1 23 and AC Competizione

I've got an annoying issue with my Fanatec CSL DD with the Clubsport Steering Wheel F1 Esports. While playing F1 23 and Assetto Corsa Competizione my wheel alignment is off by 7 of 8 degrees. The wheel is centered in the Fanatec Control Panel and my rotation is also correct in game and control panel. But the wheel is just slightly of witch is annoying in a straight line.

In Iracing i have no issues at all. Please help, this is so annoying!

Hey there Daniel, Based on the information you've provided, here are some troubleshooting steps to address the wheel alignment issue with your CSL DD and ClubSport Steering Wheel F1 Esports:

    1. Ensure Firmware is Up to Date:
    2. Check that both the base and wheel firmware are updated to the latest version using the Fanatec Control Panel. You can download the latest drivers and firmware from the Fanatec Downloads page.
    3. Recalibrate the Wheel Center:
    4. Even though the wheel appears centered in the Fanatec Control Panel, try recalibrating the wheel center:
      • Open the Fanatec Control Panel on your PC.
      • Navigate to the Settings tab and click on Wheel Center Calibration.
      • Follow the on-screen instructions to recalibrate the center position.
    5. Game-Specific Calibration:
      • In F1 23, navigate to Calibration Settings and ensure the steering calibration is set correctly. You can manually align the wheel by adjusting the in-game settings if necessary.
      • In Assetto Corsa Competizione, ensure that the steering lock and degrees of rotation are synced between the game and the Fanatec Control Panel.
    6. Check Compatibility Mode:
    7. Make sure the base is set to the correct mode for these games. For F1 23 and Assetto Corsa Competizione, the PC Mode (red LED on the base) should typically be used. You can cycle through modes by pressing the Mode button on the CSL DD.
    8. Adjust Wheel Sensitivity:
    9. Confirm that the sensitivity (SEN) is set to Auto (AUT) in the Fanatec Control Panel to allow the game to control the steering angle.
    10. Additional Adjustments:
      • Verify that no external software or controller profiles are overriding your settings.
      • If the problem persists, try a factory reset of the base via the Fanatec Control Panel.
