Steering Wheel Keeps Looking Right On Its Own
Sigh! In February this year (2024) I proudly received my Fanatec Parcels: ClubSport DD+ Wheel base, CSL Elite Pedals V2, ClubSport Steering F1 2023, QR2 and ClubSport Magnetic Paddle Module. At first things were fine but soon I started having problems with the base crashing for a few seconds which resulted in loss of steering and then it would come back. But more recently the major problem is, it now, every few seconds, keeps looking right as if I am using the left or right toggle switches to look out of the right window. This causes me to crash the car of course as I can’t see where I am going. I am racing on GranTurismo 7 on PlayStation. I downloaded and installed the latest Firmware a couple of days ago and this seems to have made the problems worse! FANATEC Please help!!!
If it helps, my current wheel base settings are:
Sensitivity = Auto, FFB Strength = 12Nm, FullForce = 49%, Natural Damper = 12%, Natural Friction = 10%, Natural Inertia = 5%, FFB Interpolation Filter = 3, FFB Intensity 100.
FANATEC PLEASE HELP as this is ruining my enjoyment and I currently feel like giving everything back and getting my money back as it’s not doing what it’s supposed to do. But the thing is when it works, it works well. HELLLLP!

I hope you get a response soon. It will be very interesting to see what the outcome will be.
Yes, me too. I am racing against some friends on a regular basis and I am falling down the rankings! Need this sorted ASAP
Thank you for reaching out, and we understand your frustration. Since your pedals are working fine in RaceRoom and the Fanatec app shows no issues, it seems like something specific to ACC might be causing the problem. Have you tried resetting the control mappings in ACC to ensure the gas pedal is still assigned correctly? Additionally, make sure there are no conflicting input settings in the game. We recommend checking for any updates to ACC or clearing its config files to start fresh. Sometimes game-specific settings or files can cause unexpected behavior.
If this doesn't resolve the issue, please contact our support team through the official channels, and they’ll guide you through the process. We appreciate your patience and are committed to resolving this for you! Best, your Fanatec team.
@angelfanatec you mention ACC several times but this is not the simulator that I am using. I’m on Gran Turismo 7. I assume that the solution you recommend applies to that simulator too?
Make sure the ACP mode switch (center rotarty knob) on the F1 wheel is in postion A - if set to D axis mode the clutch paddles map to left right view in GT7 and if you don’t have the APM paddles w clutch then it likely gets confused
Thanks Neil, the ACP mode switch is already in position . Appreciate your response mate
