ACC doesn't recognize gas pedal

CSL DD with no-LC pedals. ACC suddenly stopped recognizing the gas pedal, after working fine for several weeks. Fanatec app shows pedals operating correctly.

Wheel and pedals work just fine in RaceRoom - so it's an ACC-specific problem.

Reinstalled ACC, re-installed wheel, reinstalled Fanatec driver (464) - ACC still doesn't respond to the gas pedal.

Any suggestions? I'm at my wits end...

Thank you for reaching out, and we understand your frustration. Since your pedals are working fine in RaceRoom and the Fanatec app shows no issues, it seems like something specific to ACC might be causing the problem. Have you tried resetting the control mappings in ACC to ensure the gas pedal is still assigned correctly? Additionally, make sure there are no conflicting input settings in the game.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, we recommend checking for any updates to ACC or clearing its config files to start fresh. Sometimes game-specific settings or files can cause unexpected behavior. We're here to help and will do our best to assist further if needed. Best, your Fanatec team.

  • there is kind off allot reports that PC mode causes some problems, try play with comp mode instead

  • Angel - The gas pedal does seem to be assigned correctly. I've cleared and reset the controls/config files several times. No joy. Not sure about conflicting input settings - would that be something like two control inputs assigned to the pedal?

When I first set up ACC there were no problems. I'm now in the same situation with a fresh, unchanged copy of ACC with no settings altered and the game won't accept one of the basic input devices. I'm not really sure where to go from here...

Allan - thanks for the suggestion. I've tried that - no success.

Hey Stuart! We hear you, and let’s tackle this step by step to get you back on track in ACC. Since your gas pedal works in RaceRoom and is recognized in the Fanatec app, we can confidently rule out hardware issues. It does seem like an ACC-specific glitch that’s causing this.

Firstly, you’ve already tried resetting controls and clearing config files, which is great. For conflicting inputs, double-check the control settings in ACC to ensure no duplicate assignments (e.g., the gas pedal assigned to both an analog and digital input). A clean slate by manually re-binding every control from scratch could help, even if the game shows them as “correct.”

Another suggestion is to switch between "PC" and "Comp" modes on your wheel base. Some players have reported issues with ACC in one mode but success in the other. To change modes, hold the Mode button and check that the light corresponds to the desired setting.

Finally, if you’re still stuck, consider reaching out to ACC’s support forums or resetting their saved data via Steam. Corrupted game files can sometimes persist even after reinstalling. Let us know how it goes, and we’re happy to keep troubleshooting with you! Best, your Fanatec team.

  • Moin Stuart,

Have you already been able to solve your problem? I currently have the same problem on the Xbox with Forza, WRC and ACC from one day to the next (from January 11th to January 12th). I suspect the Xbox pulled an update during the night, but I also have the error with WRC and Forza.

I found a video on YouTube and the person flashed the pedals and the problem went away. I haven't done that yet because the pedals weren't recognized in the control center.
