Clubsport Wheelbase FFB Constantly "Pulses"

Hi all,

Excuse my sheer lack of knowledge when it comes to anything technical. Essentially, I got a new PC and Sim Rig. I have a Clubsport Wheelbase (I believe V2, but I know, it's older). On my old PC the FFB runs extremely smooth and I play around in iRacing settings by car for strength.

When I downloaded iRacing I downloaded the latest Fanatec driver. My pedals, which are the V3 and are fairly new (Less than 18 months old) operate completely fine. But my wheelbase when on my new PC with the latest Fanatec drivers constantly "pulses".

For example, when I start to drive the wheelbase is constantly sending FFB, but almost like I am running over debris or rocks.

No matter what I did yesterday I could not for the life of me get it to work. When I deleted the Fanatec drivers and went with nothing, FFB did not work in iRacing.

Not sure if there is a driver I should try, or what. I know it isn't the wheelbase because when I went back to my old PC, it worked 100% fine. But on my old PC, I don't have the Fanatec Controller App.

Thanks for sharing the details, Matthew! Since your wheelbase works perfectly on the old PC, the issue likely comes from the driver setup on the new one. It might help to try an earlier Fanatec driver version that worked well before, as newer drivers can sometimes behave differently with older hardware. Also, ensure the firmware for the base and steering wheel is up to date through the Fanatec Control Panel. Adjusting damping or filtering settings could also smooth out that pulsing effect. Let us know how it goes, we’re here to help you get the best experience! Best, your Fanatec team.
