No response on support ticket

I understand that it's holiday season at Fanatec, but we were told that existing support tickets would still be worked on. Yet my ticket 2008012626 that I opened on December 16th has not received a single meaningful response so far. The only response I got was a week ago and it wasn't particularly helpful. Basically, I was asked if my base was overheating to which I answered right away that it was not, and that's it for now, no more communication from Fanatec on this issue.

I've been your loyal customer since 2016, why are you treating me like that and keeping me in limbo? I've got a DD+ base with cogging and coil whine from the get go and I would really like to get it fixed or replaced so I can enjoy the product I spent my hard-earned money on.

  • They also sold me a dd+ with cogging and coil whine. Been trying to get it returned the whole december. First reply i got was trough paypal when two weeks passed after opening a dispuite, that i need to send it back at my own expenses if i want my money back... I need to pay, to sent them their broken shit that they sold me, back? WTF? And to this day nothing is solved. I've also been a customer since 2017 and spent thousands on their products. What a waste of money. Would switch gear in a hartbeat, if i wasn't so deep in ther ecosystem. I hope you will have more luck than me. I lost all hope to get my money back.

  • I actually hope that I can get a properly working unit as otherwise the base is pretty good. I've had my run-ins with broken brand new Fanatec gear before and I know that they can exchange or fix it and it would work years after that w/o any issues. It's just frustrating that their QC is so bad that it won't catch a clearly faulty product before it leaves the factory and then it takes way too much time and effort from the customer to sort it all out.


  • Is that team here in the room with us? Nobody has contacted me, though it wouldn't take much time to do that.

    If the people are on holidays and won't respond until January 6th or 7th or whatever date they are supposed to be back at work, just say so instead of giving a false hope.

  • I hope I'm lucky and they answer my ticket, opened on 12/30/2024, I can't play anything... I still don't understand how pedals can break due to loading firmware and a steering wheel worth a salary that suddenly broke down without knowing why... Greetings and good luck battle companion ☺️
