Tax Free Refund not received

Hello,

After more than a year of trying to get the tax refund for my order, I haven't received response to my latest emails regarding CRM 000006000035750.

Here is the situation:

  1. Fanatec received the documents to claim my tax refund on 05/01/24, with the stamps and everything else in order.
  2. On 24/04/24, Fanatec attempted to refund me via PayPal, but the transaction was refused, so I did not receive the money.
  3. I immediately sent you messages about this issue and have not received any response so far.

Since then, several attempts have failed to get a reply:

  • 24/04/24: Requested confirmation, with pictures of the issue.
  • 10/06/24: Asked again.
  • 18/08/24: Asked once more for feedback.
  • 13/09/24: Tried again to get a response, explaining the entire situation.

As far as I understand, you got the refund and have the money, and I have no way of getting it back.

Could you, please, help me with this topic?

  • I'm waiting for a partial refund since september 2023. I gave up and accepted that i will never get it. They just ignore the tickets.

    interesting, i to seen your posts before, that you buy DD+ and so on. very interesting.

    i been buy from fanatec multi times and so far currently not been any issues about that .

    Corsair does not need give you any refund from 2023 orders. so you probably been send messages to wrong place

  • I know, that's why i gave up. And yes i bought 3 DD+, at launch, summer and now end of the year, everytime hoping that they fixed them finaly. But all had coil whine and cogging. I'm not trying anymore. I also noticed that lots of people have the same defected DD's but just think that this is normal because it's their first base.

    But the problem is support. Not that you have to wait weeks for a response, but they don't even read the tickets. I opened a support ticket for a defected product with full description and pictures and video so it will speed things up, and the first response i get is, if i can send a video of the problem. WTF. After i send them again everything, i get a response that i need to enter the S/N number because otherwise they can't continue with the solution. The S/N was automaticly added to the product page when i bought the item so i can't even enter it again. I wouldn't be even able to open a support ticket without entering the S/N number first. WTF? Fanatec really went to shit.

    i don't know about that cogging really much. it could be hardware failure but it could be also firmware issue

    why it could be also firmware issue? because that is the thing what sends out signals to the coil

  • Clubsport DD was released over a year ago. Rally module was release over a year ago. Lots of products don't work like they should or take months to release just a hotfix or years to finaly fix them. Just excusses all the time.

    I've been a fanatec customer since 2017. This has not been going on only the last year. What pushed me over the edge was, when i was told i need to send back the broken DD on my expensses if i want a refund. Now let's stop this. This is Valcir's thread. It went to far.

    i know it not even started happen this year, i saw hints already in last year that there is something fully not right

    there was also talks that they was for factory over million debt? money problem like its not even comes with one day
