Shipping to the UK
I've noticed a change with how UK purchasers are billed. It's been a while since I bought a fanatec product so not sure when this change happened.
Before, when you proceeded to checkout the prices were ex vat, and you would pay that duty plus the usual UPS bandit fee when the parcel arrived in the UK.
Now, I see the prices include 20% VAT.
Does this mean that we no longer have to pay duty because the correct VAT is applied or are we double whammied and have to pay another 20% when the package lands in the UK?
Comments
You now pay VAT a the time of purchase, and you now don't pay VAT and import handling charges to UPS, so it is now much better
I recently purchased a new wheel, and did not pay any other charges at the time of purchase and delivery
Hope that helps

Dear Mark, thank you for your message. We’re currently implementing changes to our ordering process for UK customers. Following Brexit, customers were required to pay import charges separately to receive their parcels. This created an inconvenient and at times challenging experience. Now, we are pleased to have streamlined this process by allowing customers to pay VAT directly at checkout. Therefore, you do not have to worry about paying VAT a second time within entry to the UK. Best, your Fanatec Team
