V2 Pedals, can clutch be used as a brake?

Yi CYi C Member

Anyone know if V2 pedal clutch can be used as non-LC brake? Let's say I want to setup for someone who does not want LC, then go back to LC when needed.

I believe CSL clutch pedal can be used as brake, wondering if V2 clutch wiring is the same.

thanks!

Yes, the V2 pedal clutch can indeed be used as a non-load-cell (non-LC) brake! The V2 pedal set allows for some flexibility, and you can assign the clutch pedal as a brake through your software settings, such as the Fanatec Control Panel or in-game calibration.

This makes it a great option if you're setting up for someone who prefers a more straightforward braking experience or isn’t comfortable with the load cell brake. When you're ready to switch back, you can simply reassign the LC pedal as your brake without any permanent adjustments or extra hassle.

Just ensure you calibrate the pedals each time you make the switch to ensure optimal performance and proper response in your game. It’s a practical solution for versatile setups! Best, your Fanatec team.
