F1 Podium steering wheel compatibility

Hello, I currently ordered a CSL Elite v1.1 PS4 wheel base and I’m currently looking to also buy the F1 podium racing wheel (essentially the blue version of the Formula v2) by itself on eBay. My question is if these two will be compatible or if the steering wheel it needs the DD wheel base attached in order to work.

Since the V2 and the F1 2020 wheel are both compatible, I don't expect there would be any issue. Are you planning to use it with the PS4? PS4 compatibility essentially come from the base, not the wheel.
Yes, the wheel base I have works on PS4. I was just curious as I didn’t know fanatec would really foresee people using the rim with a base other than the DD1 as basically anything else would be a downgrade. I guess worst case scenario I can re-sell it if it isn’t compatible 😁
All of their other wheels are compatible with basically all the wheel bases (except some very old ones) I dont see why this would be different.
