Clubsport Pedal V3 + Clubsport DD Wheelbase - Brake and Accelerator are not recognized (Xbox)

Hi everyone
maybe the topic should also be moved to Wheelbase.
I only play on Xbox!
I have the following problem and that is that my accelerator and brake pedal are not recognized by the Clubsport Pedal V3 in the game (ACC, Forza and WRC). I had played ACC at the weekend and the next day only the clutch pedals worked. I loosened all the cables, replugged them and the same problem. I then connected the Clubsport directly via the Fanatec Control Penal and everything was recognized there again.
I thought, then maybe the RJ12 cable is defective, I could just rule that out as well. I had bought a new cable and connected it to my Clubsport DD with the Clubsport Pedal V3, but the error still existed.
Has anyone of you also had this before and been able to fix it. I would be happy to receive help.

Hey Florian! Thanks for sharing your situation with us. We’re sorry to hear about the trouble you’ve been having with your Clubsport Pedal V3, but we’re here to help! From what you’ve described, it sounds like you’ve done an excellent job troubleshooting so far, including reconnecting cables, testing the pedals directly with the Fanatec Control Panel, and even replacing the RJ12 cable. It’s great to know the pedals are recognized in the control panel, which suggests they are functioning properly on a hardware level.
One possibility could be related to the settings in your Xbox or the specific game profiles. Sometimes, controller profiles or bindings in games like ACC, Forza, or WRC can reset or become unassigned. We recommend double-checking the input bindings in each game to ensure the accelerator and brake pedals are mapped correctly. Additionally, ensure your wheelbase firmware is up to date using the Fanatec Control Panel on a PC if you have access. Firmware updates often resolve compatibility or recognition issues.
If you’ve tried all these steps and the issue persists, it might be worth reaching out to our support team directly for further assistance. They can guide you through advanced troubleshooting or help address any potential hardware concerns. We’re confident we can get you back on track! Best, your Fanatec team.
Moin moin Herr Engel,
Thanks for the help. I completely deleted and reinstalled ACC, and also reset the settings, unfortunately it didn't help.
The wheelbase, steering wheels and pedals are up to date.
I assume that the connection to the wheelbase is defective. That's my guess. I'm going to start a ticket.
Unfortunately, I don't know what to do
Good morning,
Yesterday evening I controlled the pedals directly again via the Control Center and once controlled them together with the Wheelbase. The gas, brake and clutch were detected. I now also suspect that the software could be the problem. For example, I deleted ACC and reinstalled it, and apparently all the settings were applied again. So it didn't start at 0. How do I get the settings deleted? And why is this the same with my other games?
Is it perhaps also due to the Xbox?
hi everyone,
I have to admit, I didn't feel like dealing with my wheelbase during the week. Today it was that time again.
I fired up the center and updated everything again. Afterwards I tried again and got the same error. Then smart as I am, I put another steering wheel (F1) on it for fun and lo and behold it works the brake and throttle.
I played on ACC with the McLaren Gt3 steering wheel the whole time. Then I thought to myself that I have to update the steering wheel as well. No sooner said than done and nothing improvement in sight.
I'M SO STUPID
I have twisted the regulator for throttle and brake on the GT steering wheel, so that the lower peddlers have simulated gas and brake.
SORRY, I'M JUST STUPID
Gruss der Floh
Hey Florian! Don’t worry about it, you’re definitely not stupid! It happens to the best of us, especially with the number of settings and adjustments we have to juggle. The fact that you were able to identify what was causing the issue with the McLaren GT3 wheel shows that you’re on the right track, and troubleshooting like that is exactly how you learn!
It sounds like the twist of the regulator for throttle and brake on your GT wheel was unintentionally causing the pedal functions to be misassigned. Now that you’ve figured it out, make sure to reset those regulators to their default positions so that the brake and throttle pedals are functioning as intended.
You're absolutely fine, and sometimes these little mix-ups are what make us even better at resolving issues in the future. If you ever run into anything else, feel free to reach out. We’re always here to help! Best, your Fanatec team.
