PBME button mapping on GT7

Hello @ all

I am on 464 with my DD+ together with my podiumHub and the PBME, I cant find any solution to change some settings in my MFD. I can scroll through the pages, but I cant change something, is therey any special thing that I have to set in GT7 to get the PBMR working properly?

PBMe buttons in GT7: the small toggles next to the knobs should scroll between MFD pages on one side and adjust items in the MFD w the other one. Also funky switch acting as dpad works if those are mapped to the MFD up/down/left/right in the GT wheel settings

also there is no R3 on the PBME not a big deal in GT7 - manual has button mapping table

There are some issues w the PBME and DD+: which are known DD+ FW issues fixed maybe someday

Cross button and square button each send two commands not one - both send cross and square w a single press

    Analog joystick axis are reversed

IF you meant PBMR since you mention both it has different issues - I don’t have PbMR soo can’t help u

    Hello,

I play GT7 on the PS5 with my Fanatec DD EXTREME set. With the original steering wheel I have all PS5 buttons available. Now I have bought the Podium Steering Wheel GT3 Endurance.

Here I have the problem that the PS5 buttons are assigned differently than in the description. This wouldn't be a problem, but I only have the circle, triangle and X buttons available. I'm missing the square button. What do I have to do to have this button available?

The driver 463 is installed including the included firmware.

The attached photo shows my current button assignment.

The X button is assigned twice, between X and option is the second X

  • If you download the manual for just the PBME, it will show the correct button maps for PS. The Square button is just below X

However the DD+ w the PBME module which is used w the Endurance wheel has an issue - the X and Sqaure buttons send both the Square and X signal, Square first then X, with each press

Say you assign a function to Square, like wipers, and flash headlights to X - your wipers will go and headlights will flash when you press either X or Square

However elsewhere in the game like editing a setup name, Square doesn’t work - you can’t backspace. Also in online mode the Square sends chat messages, also broken

This is a known bug since the DD+ was introduced, a problem w the FW in all versions up to now. Not a PBME FW issue. Will be fixed someday according to Maurice

  • Hello Neil,

Thank you for the very detailed and understandable explanation. I actually only use the square key in GT7 to access the chat before and after the race. Until the bug is fixed in X years :-) I will use the controller for this function.

    Best regards

    Gregor
