  • Fanalab didn't recognize AC Evo install. I had to correct the Steam ID in the Fanatec program files x86 configuration file for it to work.

  • Thanks a lot team !

One thing If I can :

From the 2.01.58 RC to the 2.01.60, when i ask the 2.01.58 if there is a new version, it say "no you're up to date", i'm pretty sure it's because it's a RC.

But it could be awesome to get the ability to have a check update for RC version too, I'm not coming everyday in the forum so missing the update could be a thing.

AC EVO Integration bug : When you click on "Recommanded FFB Setting" it sent you back to ACC Thread - maybe you can sent them to this thread instead while we are waiting an official profile https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/36462/assetto-corsa-evo-wheel-base-guide-already-here/p1 ?

  • It's working-ess for me.

I mean, in the Fanalab menu, it looks like the game is not install :

But when I launch the game, it's going well :

as you can see in full profile, i have ACEVO see by Fanalab even if the game is not found, i didn't touch anything.

I had the same issue with LMU in the past, everything loadup correctly in Fanalab but the game is show as "not found" until it get up.

  • The Software can only detect a new version when we update a special json file, which we only do for full releases, so it is not possible (or better we explicitly dont want to) to trigger a update notification for Beta or RC versions as Beta and RC versions are for public testing which should only be made from experienced users who actively search for such beta and RC stuff in the forum.

We have that as a feature idea for the upcoming new Fanatec App, it won't be part of the app on launch but we want to have a function to opt in beta updates and then get notifications for those as well.

  • Thanks team,

will test a bit much tomorrow and the upcoming day to share some thoughts

Fanalab needs a Feature that supports Full Force via output telemetry data for the CS DDs. This would be possible and would increase the sales through better advertising and support for all games that supports telemetry.

  • That was planned but wont be implemented into Fanalab anymore as the Lab is a dying Software, full Focus is on the new Software which combines the driver control Panel and the Lab. Telemetry Based FullForce for sure wont arrive anytime soon into that Software as well but might come in the coming years.

  • Hey Maurice, will you still create profiles before the new Fanatec software is released? thank you!

  • Yes, next pack with new LMU LMGT3 profiles, new AMS2 Super Trophy Truck profile and updated iRacing BMW M4 GT4 profile planned for this weekend.

  • Good News! Thank you!

  • Hi, thanks for the info on Fullforce not being usable for "years to come". I bought a CS DD at launch, November 2023. And the FullForce feature was one thing that made me decide not to buy another brand. So now at least I know that feature is just marketing BS, and I can sell my latest Fanatec gear without remorse, and finally be free of this toxic brand/ecosystem.

People only want to read and interpret what and how they want...

I never said that FullForce is not being usable for years to come. I only said that FullForce telemetry wont be implemented into the Lab as the Lab is dying but is likely planned for the upcoming brand new software which combines the driver control panel and the Lab.

This does not change the fact that game developers are hard at work right now in this moment to implement FullForce into their games. It nearly made it into the iRacing Season 2 build with code leftovers slipped into that build but due to last minute issues on iRacings end they needed to drop it for the initial S2 release. So they are extremely close to release FullForce VERY soon and it definitely wont take years to arrive natively in first games. And actually only this solution, that game devs implement FullForce into their games via API, was ever promised. That FullForce will arrive in our Softwares to use it via telemetry was actually never a promised feature.

  • Thank you for your answer.

The Fullforce feature was demoed with an Iracing demo at the ADAC in october 2023. So 18 months later, you tell that's it's still in development, and I have not seen any anouncement from the studios who develop major sim titles, like ACC, Automobilista 2, RaceRoom, EAWrc, etc ... especially the last two : AC Evo and Le Mans Ultimate. At least, in LMU or RF2, Fanatec could have developped a plugin (as this LMU/RF2 allow it) to make it available.

But no. You prefer answer and defend that the Fullforce feature will be integrated in the "coming years" in drivers, and described it as a "gift" as it wasn't promised to customers, because it should be the work of game's developpers. Seriously ? There's any anouncement from anybody or what so ever, so how long should we wait to be able to use this feature, which is maybe a gimmick, but which is above all was one of the feature at the top of the announcement in october 2023, and something I have paid. So I can understand that patience is a virtue, but I would like to be able to use what I have paid before my death.

Maybe Fanatec could inspire themself from how did Logitech do that their trueforce feature was available in the majority of the major sim titles quickly ?

The iRacing Demo was based purely on sound effects, not on telemetry data from the game and it was only a demonstration of what FullForce could feel to give Expo visitors a first glimpse.

It was always said that FullForce is a Telemetry based new Force Feedback API which needs to be implemented by the game developers into their games.

iRacing, GT7 and Assetto Corsa are the currently confirmed titles where the game devs are hard at work right now to implement that API but only they can say when the feature might arrive in their games, Fanatec has no influence at how game developers set priorities and what they develop and implement in the first place. The iRacing Dev confirmed last week that the API nearly made it into their Season 2 Build and that the feature will arrive very soon now.

But anyway, we are drifting a bit off-topic as FullForce has not really anything to do with FanaLab as it was indeed never a promised feature for the Lab.
