F1 Esports Wheel 7 Digit Display Not Functioning

Hi, new to sim racing. I recently bought a Fanatec CSL Elite+ complete with the F1 Esports wheel for ps4/ps5. I have noticed on both ACC and GT7 that the blue 7 digit displays do not show gear/speed. Everything else on the wheel works fine it's just the 7 digit display. I checked my firmware and it states it's up to date. Is this a compatibility issue with the game as I am on console or is there a setting I need to enable?


NB: The display works because it comes on during its startup sequence.
