Sooo bummed! Comments? New CS DD base not compatible with QR1 the Fanatec gave me with order :(
This is my first post finding this awesome forum. I am a fairly new sim racing, only using Thrustmaster wheel and pedals until now, but after buying a Fanatec CS Shifter and loving it, I decided to go all in with Fanatec. i just received my order of the new CS DD wheel base, CS V3 pedals, and the CS Steering Wheel RS to go along with my CS shifter. I got everything installed on my NextLevelRacing GTtrack, and was about to put on the wheel with the QR1 that Fanatec included for free in my order, when panic set in seeing that the QR1 did not fir on the CS DD base. Nooooooo! I just ordered the QR2 a few minutes ago from Fanatec, so hopefully next week I'll be set.
I just needed to vent, as I was REALLY looking forward to trying everything out today, but will have to patiently wait. :)

hope you have not wait to long. For this base the qr2 will be the better option. But don´t buy the qr2 lite because it´s limited to 8nm
Thanks! I ordered the $99 QR2. https://fanatec.com/us-en/detail/index/sArticle/1218?_gl=1*1dcqofs*_up*MQ..*_ga*OTEwNjIyNjcwLjE3MDY3MjU4NzU.*_ga_Q6VYC4JPVE*MTcwNjcyNTg3NC4xLjEuMTcwNjcyODQ2Ni4wLjAuMA..
Did I order the correct one?
Also, I know I am a complete newbie with Fanatec, with only 7 months experience with sim racing in general, but I wish that when I bought the CS DD that it was a bit more clear that the only way to use this base was to buy the QR2, as I certainly would have bought it with my order. I think seeing the "free QR1 threw my off). Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning more, as I continue this sim racing journey that I started just last year at 54 years old. :)
some steering wheels are limited for 8nm no matter if you use lite or not
but not the Clubsport RS Wheel. p1, CSL BMW, WRC and GT wheel are the ones that limited to 8 nm
I just want to be sure that the QR2 I ordered is all that I needed to now use my CS DD base and CS RS wheel together. That should be all I need, right?
yes, that all what what you need for make it to work
