FFB-meter
for avoid clipping, you need little reduce ffb
Base or ingame....Of course you want to get the best out of it and an FFB meter would be useful.
i not know (not searched yet) if there exist the DirectX effects debugger or not . but if there is then that could help you.
another way is use the oscilloscope but i doubt everyone starts open they Hardware cases
clipping is by default when base reaches its max signal in its base voltage, after that there is no way make difference between the signals
Fanatec DD1/DD2 i think they to have something in they Screen what shows info. but i not really focused atm for this
