Does anyone have settings for the Podium f1 where you can actually feel the understeer through the wheel? I had some settings that worked a treat a few GT7 updates ago, but haven’t been able to recreate the feel I had previously.
Best example is with the circuit experience time trial for Fuji (gr2 Lexus). Turn 3 / 4 are a long right hander, and for me the only way I can manage it is to listen for the sound rather than feel it through the wheel. (For reference, my best lap is 1.29.9 - only a couple of tenths off the world record)
In the earlier days of GT7, I’d get a vibration through the wheel, now there’s no feedback on the understeer
Hello everyone and happy new year. I have a CSL Elite PS4 Base and playing for a while a few days back, does anyone have any good settings to share?
Currently here are my settings - any suggestions welcome:
SEN: Auto
FF: 80
DRI: -05
FEI: 80
FOR: 100
SPR: 100
DPR: 100
In game settings:
FF max torque: 8
FF sensitivity: 1
Also, I noticed a few things for the first time - maybe it was a problem that has been for a while but just came to my attention - when having the FEI effects high as soon as you start turning those effects seem to be lost when turning - I am sure that the base has more than enough torque, is this a known issue? Can clipping occur at low FFB? I mean, given the fact that I have enough headroom, right?
First of all by having In game max torque at 8 you definitely clipping a lot. You should not pass value 5. I have found that Max Torque 3 is the best case scenario even with GR 3 category. The thing is that as you move up the car category the easiest to have clipping.
With your settings you should have about 3.8 Nm at base shaft.
Try these settings
SEN: Auto
FF: 100 (just full potential of the motor in terms of speed and power)
DRI: -03 (with less oscillations you can have a lot faster steering wheel that will help you catch slides a lot easier Also a more natural ''free'' steering column. If you need more damping you can go back to -5 but with a slower steering wheel)
FEI: 50 (avoid high values in order to have less ''belt slap''. You can go a bit higher with low end cars)
FOR: 120% (should have low in game max torque so this will help us to have more power without increasing clipping)
SPR: 100% (does not have any effect in FFB)
DPR: 100% (does not have any effect in FFB)
In game settings:
FF max torque: 3 (max 2.2Nm) or 4 (max 2.9Nm) or 5 (max 3.6Nm) clearer feeling, much less clipping, less oscilations faster steering wheel.
FF sensitivity: 1 (you could raise a bit because you ''supposed'' to have max torque value lower than before to avoid clipping. Try raise this value not higher than 3 in order to still have a good dynamic range even with low max torque.

Thank you for your answer, it's more or less what I had in mind, but wasn't sure if I was clipping or not. Wonderful answer! Will check back as soon as I can and report back.
Hello. The podium DD1 exits during the game (controller off error message is displayed) at random intervals. And only during the GT 7 game. Pc. does not register. What could be wrong?
Used the GT DD Pro settings but lowered the force feedback strength on my DD+ to 56% which is the same (8,4Nm) as the recommendation for the Podium F1. I’m using a McLaren GT3 V2 wheel.
J'ai trouvé de bons réglages pour le DD+ sur GT7, j'ai mis le FFB du jeu au mini et je modifie en fonction des catégories de voiture le FFB de la base, j'oscille entre 60% et 90%. il est vraiment bien se DD+.
Any recommended settings for CS DD+? I tried settings for GT DD and F1 and have a feeling that there is more clipping than in F1 DD. Feedback is in fact more detailed, more natural but clipping is there.
Going to try these today and a few YouTube ones I just used settings I could from dd pro and felt great interested to see what it's like with good settings
Apologies new to the forum and have search numerous pages but there is no like Top thread I would like to find out what is Maurice's recommended setting for GT DD pro 8NM with updated software and drivers. for GT7
I've been playing with the settings on gt7 using the Clubsport DD + taking what I can from a few youtubers and members here that have shared settings due to how little info is out there and found raising NFR settings (Natural Friction) Creates oscillation when not even on track. Fingers crossed we get a definitive setup recommendation from Fanatec, being my first DD wheel I really don't want to break it.
Hello, if anyone could recommend me a configuration for the DD Extreme settings for the Gran Turismo 7 game. Both basic and game. Thank you. I'm new to this ecosystem

is there any new suggestion on driver 454?

Do you register this issue only after updating on 1.42 for GT7?
I don't know because I didn't pay attention, it just appeared. But it's certain that the previous Gran Turismo DD PRO steering wheel didn't do it.
Try my setup DD pro GT7 :

Ok, any tips for DD+…? Same values but FFB to 65% instead of 100%?
Salut v1n2,
J'ai les mêmes valeurs que toi, je sort d'un GT DD pro 8nm et avec le DD+ je suis obligé de baisser le FFB
