BROKEN STEERING WHEEL UNDER WARRANTY: THIS IS THE FANATEC RESPONSE

Good morning everyone,

I'll briefly summarize, I opened a support ticket because my Fanatec Mclaren steering wheel after 1 year of life literally broke the left grip.

After 1 month of waiting and several reminders, their response was to send the steering wheel at my expense and then (I report the exact words):

" After we receive the unit(s), our technician will proceed with an inspection in order to find a root cause of the issue. A quotation for the repair will then be created and forwarded to you. At this point, you can decide between 3 options:

 1. Accept the quotation and proceed with the repair. 

2. Decline the quotation and have us send the unit(s) back as-is. Return shipping charges will apply. 

3. Decline the quotation; have the units properly disposed by us at no additional cost. 

Let me know if you have any further questions in the meantime, and I will be happy to assist.

I am speechless, they totally ignored the fact that the steering wheel is still under warranty.
