csl elite v2 pedals never worked yet

Hello, I bought these CSL Elite V2 pedals in the Black Friday sale. They arrived at the beginning of February. At that time, due to my back being in bad condition, I couldn't assemble them. I assembled them at the beginning of July and they didn't work either with the controllers to the base or directly to the PC. I wrote to fanatec at support on the 8th of that month, still no response, from fanatec my latest efforts with them are very disappointing, a shame, still no response

Where do the CSL EP V2 have plastic?!🤔
Even the Webshop description says that it's full-metal, no plastic.
They are by far the best pedals in the whole Fanatec ecosystem when you compare price / performance.
looks like plastic or fiber carbon , i not trust this thing at all as it looks so thin as well
i seen over year different things but never something like that, this is like huge warning sigh here about that product
this design looks cheap and simple, but even those i would trust more -.-
Then you dont know what you are talking about.
Please watch some reviews. It is full-metal and the metal is waaaayyyyy thicker than the aluminium on the CSL Pedals.
It just looks weird on the pictures but irl it is strong as hell and, as said, BY FAR the best pedals in the whole Fanatec ecosystem when considering price/performance.
when we may see something like this ?
What have those Pedals to do with this thread? That is now completely off-topic.
However.. Dont ask me, idk.
you could be right that maybe they are good and maybe that specific one was defective. but after seen this image. that makes allot off think of it
The material is Zama, an alloy of Zinc, Magnesium and Aluminium. There may also be some Copper, in which case it is called "Zamak". It is the classic "die-cast metal", it can have different mechanical characteristics depending on the percentages of the composition, but it is never used for heavy-duty purposes. It breaks easily and the inside has the typical "grainy" appearance. If it is not painted or treated, over time the surface becomes opaque, appearing to be covered in a dust similar to flour.
It is used for toys or for anything that must be made of metal but is not subjected to excessive stress such as door and furniture handles. If the thickness is generous it can have good resistance, but I would never want pedals made of Zamak.
one thing what i know is that my old 20 year Microsoft steering wheel setup, what made with plastic seems stronger than this thing
It is not.
And now please no longer abuse this thread which by now did not had one single helpful answer to the OP.
